The RC44 was originally conceived in 2005 by New Zealand America’s Cup legend Russell Coutts with naval architecture carried out by Slovenian Andrej Justin. <br><br>Since its launch in 2007, the RC44 Championship Tour has established itself as a key series to compete on in the international yacht racing scene. Fast forward 12 years and as the class goes from strength to strength, with new venues introduced the calendar and new teams joining the fleet.

2024 CIRCUIT
An exciting development for 2024 will be the 44Cup heading for the Caribbean.<br><br>The season starts in Lanzarote then returning to mainland Europe with a new venue - Baiona, on Spain’s north coast. Third venue is the circuit’s regular - Marstrand, Sweden - continuing to another new venue: the Swiss lake, Brunnen. <br><br>2024 will conclude with a return to Bermuda. <br>44Cup venues are decided annually by the owners. As the class is World Sailing-recognised, it holds an annual World Championship.

Within the sponsorship of the 44CUP, we offer a unique and unforgettable experience: becoming crew number 10 aboard the 44CUP during a regatta. This experience fully immerses guests in the exciting world of competitive sailing, providing a unique perspective from the heart of the action.<br><br>This hospitality experience is designed to fascinate both sailing enthusiasts and neophytes, offering a day full of learning, adventure and intense emotions. It is an exceptional opportunity to promote team building, connect in a unique way with the spirit of the 44CUP and experience the passion of sailing from a privileged perspective.
DAY’S ITINERARY
The day's itinerary begins with the 44CUP's arrival at the Village, where guests are greeted and given a detailed presentation on the 44CUP class and the racing format. After a visual introduction via video, guests embark on a specially designated catamaran to follow the races from a privileged position, enjoying on-board catering and live commentary provided by an experienced speaker.<br><br>The highlight comes with the start of the regattas, during which guests actively participate by being transferred to one of the racing boats as 'crew number 10'. Once the racing is over, guests return to land where they have the opportunity to share and reflect on their experiences of the day.
